Topic > Reflection on Inclusion in Education - 723

I learned so much about inclusion in these first few chapters and I had no idea how much information I didn't know. A very important point made is that the fight for inclusion has come a long way since before the 1950s, but there is still much to be done to ensure inclusion for everyone everywhere in the United States. It appears that some areas that may be more rural may not be strictly adhering to the new laws and mandates, but are moving at a snail's pace to ensure that all students are treated equally, but this is evident when it comes to all of the diversity in education. I also learned that teachers and typically developing children learn so much from each other that inclusion has only helped our society rather than hurt it
