Topic > My Path to Electrical Engineering - 1095

In the summer of my freshman year of college, I suffered from a neck injury, which prevented me from studying and took me away from daily life for almost four months . It was really a difficult time, as all I could do was practice yoga meditation to relieve the headaches. However, thanks to this period I understood the importance of working due to my strong natural need to do so. During these months I began to understand myself clearly. I was aware that I wanted to dedicate myself to a research career to invent new things for people's needs. Since then, the firm determination to become an expert in electrical engineering, my favorite field since childhood, has remained etched in my mind. When I graduated from the School of Mathematics for Gifted Students - Hanoi National University, my first university was Hanoi University of Science and Technology. – one of the best technical universities in Vietnam. After official admission, I got the highest score in a very selective entrance exam among the top freshmen to enroll in the Talent Training Department, where a very competitive atmosphere with tougher training was provided. In the first semester I did very well academically, then I had a few choices to study abroad. South Russian State Technical University was my choice because I thought Russia was a country with advanced technologies in my field of study - automation. After recovering from my neck injury, I started working harder to keep up with my classes and improve myself to realize my goal. By participating in a wide range of activities such as the Olympics, fabricating two circuit boards with graduate students, I have gained valuable knowledge that goes beyond what can be learned in the classroom and in different...half of paper......cal application and radiation detection at the Integrated Microsystems Lab appeal to me strongly. I am confident that I can adapt research teams quickly due to my strong background and research experience. I am open to working under the supervision of other professors involving all aspects of semiconductor devices, quantum electronics and large-scale integration design. With my experience and determination in research, I am well prepared for the challenges of the doctoral program at your department. I look forward to being a member of your work community. My personal experience and character certainly guarantee that I will be a cooperative member in any research group of your school. Above all, I firmly believe that I will be able to contribute my intelligence to the diversity and competitiveness of your school. Please give me a chance to realize my life goal.
