Administrative leaders must have a clear vision for their school, a plan to get there, and the ability to effectively communicate their mission and goals to the learning community. Leaders must recognize how to achieve the process of change by challenging established community beliefs and behaviors. Encourage resisters to adapt to innovative ideas in the school community. Dr. Hunter has clearly articulated goals to all stakeholders in all aspects of the school culture. Guides developed by the Local Administrators Partnership Strand (ILIAD) address the standards and procedures for ensuring quality service as a leader. These standards and guidelines align with the leadership standards of the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) (www.naesp.org), an ILIAD partner. The unstructured interview analysis will describe leadership styles and roles, curriculum development and assessment methods. Leadership styles The strength of the school is shown through the school's capacity, achievement and teaching values. Lesson plans can include collaboration of lesson plans and activities to promote innovative ideas to achieve set goals and objectives. I realize that leadership is complex and the guidelines provided can help you be effective in driving change for students, teachers and community leaders. By using guidelines, your leadership style prepares leaders for the expectations and demands in implementing procedures and programs.
