In some places resources are abundant and in others there are none. To truly succeed in this era of global knowledge, people must put their heads together and access the outcomes needed to be productive in a society. Teachers and leaders are coming together to access and generate new knowledge and apply that knowledge to improve livelihoods and create new solutions, products, jobs, wealth and health. When people with ideas come together and access the necessary resources, we see the results in various forms such as; medicines, improved crops and innovations in learning. Teachers and leaders work and communicate together to initiate the changes needed to build new ways of learning, sharing and accessing knowledge, and then putting them into practice in the lives of all students. At my school we have learned that education, science, technology, and a dedicated, hard-working staff are the key to preparing our students for a globally excellent education and future. The success and development of countries are making transitions based on their ability to educate, retain and employ high-quality educated teachers.
