When it comes to talking to someone who may have a different outlook on life, you need to be very careful not to offend or hurt someone. Just because a person lives next door to you your entire life doesn't mean they share the same worldview as you. The United States today, as it has been for years, was a place where people could coexist with different cultures, a melting pot as some call it. Some cultures are easier to talk to than others. There are some beliefs that do not go hand in hand with a Christian worldview. Some believe that there are multiple Gods and others who do not believe in any God or higher power. Within each religion there are multiple points of view on the religion itself. In the United States there seem to be many people who hold a worldview of secular humanism. The Renaissance changed so much how people trusted the word of God. It allowed the word of God to reach more people and also gave way to people who doubted the Word. Since people already had a questioning nature, this allowed people to begin questioning their very being. Is there a God? How come I have never seen any evidence of what God said? Why do scientists say that humans evolved from monkeys? The question of origin from the perspective of Secular Humanism is that they tend to follow the scientific view of evolution. Science has shown that evolution has changed all the inherited characteristics of our chemical composition over time. Humans are just apes who have changed over time to become what we are today. Humans have adapted to walk upright and have a common language. We do not do what is right but what we feel is correct for the moment. Our destiny is written in stone. God has a plan for each of us and one day we will sit with Him at a table set for us. Galileo stated: “Where the senses fail us, reason must intervene”. The reason is that God sent his son to save us from ourselves. God knew we couldn't do it all alone. He gave us his word to save us from condemnation.
