Michael Jordan once said, "Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships." A team is made up of a small number of individuals with complementary skills who are committed to a common purpose. (Reveln Consulting, 2013) I have often heard people talk about teams and the benefits that come with them. It helps to get new ideas from all members of a team and also helps to brainstorm and choose the best applicable one. Teams are generally divided into four different categories: problem solving, self-managed, cross-functional and virtual. All these teams have different characteristics but are helpful and helpful in achieving the ultimate goals and objectives. It reduces the workload of a particular person and is distributed equally among other members. The advantage of working in a team is greater than working alone. The sharing of ideas between members and how everyone has their own way of thinking about it and implementing it is different. This helps you learn a lot about the assigned task, as well as get more perspectives on the situation. Even though the decision making process takes more time than individuals, the decision is made after a thought process of several minds. Thus, the chances of a right decision are greater when it is made as a group rather than as an individual, and also the responsibility for a bad decision made falls on the heads of all members of a group equally as compared to a situation concerning an individual. .The most fascinating and useful thing about working in a team was the group discussions.
