When Ledge received his Savvy, he hoped that he could impress his father by gaining the power to run very fast. He later discovered that he had gained the power to build and destroy objects. He was really disappointed and only thought about his father. He later learns that running is not what he wants to do and learns that he can use his Wisdom for good. He discovered that he was a great sculptor and could create great works of art. At first Ledge didn't discover he could build. He thought he could just break things. He discovered he could fix things when Ledge and his cousin took his cousin's (Rocket) car to the repair shop to fix the car's brake. "'Do you think I fixed the brake?' I asked Rocket chuckling, "He didn't fix the brake, he said it was already fixed." This explains that Ledge has indeed learned to control his powers.
