Turner Syndrome Turner syndrome is a genetic condition that affects the female sex chromosome. In (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0001417/) Turner syndrome occurs when cells are missing all or part of an X chromosome. It is normal for patients to have only one X chromosome.
