Topic > Reflection on Health and Wellbeing - 804

Personally, I now judge an individual's health not by their appearance, but by their lifestyle. In this sense I understand the idea of well-being better. If wellness is defined as the dynamic choices we make on this mortal coil regarding health, then I think it is much easier to equate it with a process of following Christ. I will never be a perfect man. I will never be the perfect example of health. However, if I continue to work at being a better human being, avoiding sins and transgressions, perhaps I can be a better Christian and person. Similarly, regarding the pursuit of better health, if an individual starts eating better, exercising properly, monitoring heart health, maintaining good mental/social standing, avoiding overindulging in bad habits such as smoking and the like, can pursue a much better state. of well-being. In my current mindset, thanks to further education and support from my wife, it is much easier to look at health and well-being across the entire spectrum rather than simply in a global perspective.
