The first component is the desire to reproach a person who has done harm to him. Humans, like animals, have self-defense mechanisms. However, unlike animals, humans are capable of sympathy. Humans have a wider range of emotions. Therefore, the need they feel to punish the person who harmed them depends on the severity of the act according to the "victim". This brings us to the second point which talks about how some rights are protected by law and therefore punishable by the police. Society must defend itself from those who disobey its laws in the interest of the general utility of its people. The preservation of justice and just laws preserves harmony and well-being among human beings. Consequently there is a great utility interest in preserving and enforcing the commands of justice. For this system to work, each person's happiness must be held at the same level of importance. The rights of a rich man in the justice system should not be more important than the rights of the poorest man. Justice is intended to provide the greatest overall happiness to human beings. It's about looking at the bigger picture rather than the individual
