First, the Standard Oil Company created money for the economy and provided jobs. This helped people pay bills and provide for their families, among other things. Subsequently, Rockefeller used techniques so that the price was accessible to everyone. The company succeeded and provided cheap oil for homes which was used as light among other activities with this oil. Ultimately, through all phases of construction, Rockefeller consistently donated to charity and ended up donating over $550 million! With this money, Rockefeller helped the community in many ways. He helped generously donate a large sum of money to the General Education Council, so that students could receive an education and succeed. He also founded the Rockefeller Foundation, which helped ordinary people take care of their well-being. He also helped the Rockefeller Sanitary Committee.
