VEGETARIANISMProteins, vitamins, minerals and fats which are the essential components of human life are effectively present in fruit, vegetables, cereals and legumes. Lynda Dickson stated that “The human species did not evolve as carnivorous or carnivorous” (37). Carnivores have been seen to be anatomically different from herbivores. Meat eaters have well-developed canine teeth, digestive juice with a higher level of hydrochloric acid, long and larger digestive tract with well-developed legs for hunting prey, while herbivores are physically different from these characteristics. These anatomical differences between herbivores and carnivores suggest that humans were created as non-meat eaters. Vegetarian foods, which are eco-friendly, are efficient enough to provide necessary nutrients to the human body and adopting the habit of vegetarianism is hygienically, economically and morally beneficial. Vegetarian foods are eco-friendlyThe vegetarian lifestyle is more eco-friendly than a non-friendly one. vegetarian lifestyle. The vegetarian eating habit helps in the conservation of the environment (land, water and air); whereas the environmental impact generated by non-vegetarian food production is quite serious. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, waste from animal farms contaminates rivers and lakes more than all other industries combined. Insecticides and pesticides used in livestock farming to eliminate harmful insects and bacteria eventually reach soil and water causing chemical pollution. Furthermore, these chemicals deposited on animal bodies pose a serious threat to human health. Large quantities of dung and animal waste produced by livestock farms and slaughterhouses are the main causes of soil and water pollution. Dung and... half of paper... blood pressure and obesity can be minimized by consuming plant-based foods. From an economic point of view, vegetarian diets are much more efficient than meat-based diets and teach the individual to respect animals.
