Possible exposure to infectious diseases, sharps, and blood-borne pathogens makes working conditions dangerous for children. This, once again, is mainly due to the fact that legally children do not have the aptitude and mental maturity to realize what is around them. Considering this line of thinking, it wouldn't really matter whether or not children were paid for their work, they are simply not allowed to take part in anything that happens in the industry. This seems pretty simple when explained this way, but it seems to be unfair when considering children who will want to become medical professionals in their careers. Intentionally banning children from the workforce is something my company, and the industry, will most likely keep as a rule due to the potential liability and safety issues - not to mention the mental stress that can befall an undeveloped mind - and as long as someone outside the influence, such as that of the government, on changes in the provisions that employers should follow, will remain
