Stress often leads to overeating or undereating. Likewise, these scenarios can cause serious health risks. Overeating can lead to becoming overweight or obese, which can lead to other problems. For example, obesity is often linked to the development of heart disease (Eckel). Heart disease requires extensive medical treatment that will cost an individual even more money. This vicious cycle never ends and leads to a very dangerous lifestyle on campus. The health of the USC community is further neglected by the Lyon Center. In theory, the gym is a great way to stay fit while building close bonds with classmates. Unfortunately, gym conditions often incite competition and simple frustration. With limited and mostly out-of-service machines, people often have to wait to use the machine for just a few minutes. Standing is not convenient when students have many other tasks to complete, so they often leave the gym without adequate training. Months without adequate training lead people to gain weight and lead an unhealthy lifestyle
