Computational linguistics, Information Retrieval (IR) and data mining are some research fields that are incorporated by one of the branches of data mining called text mining, scholars said. Numerous text mining techniques such as "topic detection and tracking, keyword extraction, sentiment analysis, document clustering, and automatic document summarization" have been introduced to increase the efficiency of text analysis. Furthermore, NPL is a field related to text mining that is concerned with the mutual relationships between the large amount of existing unstructured texts. A good number of Bengali posts are shared on the Facebook pages of various Bengali newspapers on a daily basis. Bengali language texts are unstructured and need to be transformed into informative knowledge from a large amount of data through the application of various text mining techniques. By paying particular attention to the "Arab Spring" examined during this vital phase of history, Facebook intended to gather useful details about users' feelings online. For this purpose, the analysts used a system based on Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Naïve Bayes. Furthermore, a lexical resource is formed for sentiment analysis extracted from emoticons, interjections and acronyms derived from users' status updates. Although the research achieved profound results on Tunisian Facebook users in January 2011, the Tunisian revolution which is one of the recorded moments, presented some flaws identified with the changing emotions of users targeted on a specific point.
