Over the centuries art has played a vital role in our lives, because it is universal and everywhere, so we experience the houses we live in every day the films we see. Even in ancient culture, starting from the prehistoric period, art played a crucial role by encouraging cave dwellers to draw on cave walls to record history. Most art is created for a specific reason or purpose, as it has a way of expressing ideas and beliefs and can record all people's experiences, but not all people agree on artistic styles; so while some people may consider something to be art, others may not like the same thing and consider it an act of vandalism, and this is actually the case with graffiti. Graffiti is the name for images or letters scratched, scribbled, painted, or marked in any way on property (jasbal,2011); in fact, there are many types of graffiti, but the most widely recognized form is tagging, which involves a person using broad-tipped markers, spray paint, or other tool to create a tag or nickname that will identify him or her to others. graffiti markers; graffiti can be found everywhere, both on public and private properties and on trains, buses, vehicles, statues, benches, electricity poles, billboards, parking lots, schools, fences and office walls, but if people should encourage and allow graffiti, on the streets of Egypt, otherwise it would not become a controversial issue. Some people believe that graffiti is art because it is a medium through which one can express oneself permanently and has the potential to convey powerful and relevant messages, although for many people graffiti is illegal and a form of vandalism, as it invades privacy people and destroys their property. In my opinion, after thinking about this issue four times… halfway through the paper… our lives could be affected if graffiti continues to spread; the fear resulting from the fact that paint fumes damage the air we breathe and can directly affect our lungs. For example, I heard on the radio that a statistic showed that the rate of lung cancer has increased rapidly due to the effect of graffiti. In summary, the enormous negative effects of graffiti on the environment cannot be overlooked for an aesthetic form. In conclusion, graffiti is vandalism because it is meaningless and destroys property; in addition to violating the law, it damages at least three main sectors of life: the economic sector, the social sector and the environmental sector. In my humble opinion, local authorities should initiate educational programs on graffiti prevention and removal; they should also encourage people to build plants and shrubs along the wall.
