World War I and World War IIDuring 1900, two wars broke out between nations, World War I and World War II. These wars brought famine, death from debt, and even freedom. Although some outcomes were the same, they were fought with significantly different war tactics. The First World War was caused by one important factor: the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. This happened on June 28, 1914. He was the Archduke of Austria-Hungary (Hartford). While the Second World War was caused by an agreement between the United States, France, England and Italy. This agreement made Germany pay for all war damages in the nations affected by World War I (Weapons). World War I spread to many nations, Austria-Hungary, Russia, Germany, France, Great Britain, the United States, and Belgium. The leaders of the nations were allies with each other (United States with France, Great Britain, Russia, Italy and Japan, they were also known as Allied powers. During the agreements of the Allied powers to ally themselves, Germany, Austria-Hungary and Turkey became the opposing forces known as the Central Powers (World War I and World War II). The First World War lasted four years, from 1914 to 1918, and caused millions of deaths with the weapons used. The soldiers of both opposing forces made zigzag trenches for avoid them being hit on level ground. These trenches were a major cause of the death toll of World War I not being as high. Military personnel carried artillery, such as: machine guns, grenades and revolvers into the trenches, and fired at them. them. even the opposing military (weapons)....Both of these wars caused mass destruction and millions of families suffered. Even though the wars had different leaders and were fought differently, the wars had fantastic results . Works Cited Mike, Bass. Personal interview. January 20, 2014.Daene, Roger.
