Two realms are actively experienced during a person's life: the realm of reality and the mythical realm. Not all kingdoms are the same; one person's mythical world could be another person's real world. People often try to find a mythical realm, a mythical life, to escape from everyday reality. Sometimes this alters one's version of reality in the process. One world cannot exist without the other; therefore, in order to cross over, a person must leave behind some aspects of one world to take in pieces of the other. Humans have been creating myths since the days of simple spoken language. In the beginning, the only way to spread these myths was by word of mouth, until the written language was established. Even then, it took a while before people could afford books, let alone become literate, so these myths also have many variations depending on the taster's tastes. The first examples of true written writing were those of a spiritual nature, religious writings that began as spoken stories told by itinerant storytellers. Already in the Greek idol of Dionysus, Isis and Horus of the Egyptians, the Buddha of the Buddhists and the Christians Jesus Christ, the myths were popular folklore that inhabited their daily lives. All these idols are superhuman in nature; they can do extraordinary things that no other human being can do. For example, Dionysus is known for turning into a lion and killing men who tried to kidnap him in a boat, and for turning men who jumped off the boat into dolphins (Wrath np). Isis and Horus are known for a rather funny myth in which Horus was almost sexually assaulted by his rival, Set. Horus once woke up and realized what was in the middle of the paper... given, but learn to embrace what we have achieved. Once we are able to break the mythical realities of racism, a new reality, a race, will emerge: the human race. Works Cited "The Wrath of Dionysus 1: Greek Mythology."
