Although formula is not "bad", I simply feel that you should at least attempt to achieve breastfeeding. Choosing to feed your baby formula shouldn't make you feel mom-guilt. Many moms choose formula because it's simply less stressful. It is also convenient, as anyone can take part in feeding your baby. It is very flexible, being a busy mom you can just leave the formula with your baby at daycare or grandma's house. Additionally, expressing breast milk should not interfere with your work or school schedule. The downside is that it is well written that formula will lack the necessary antibodies to protect the baby from infection. The formula will be more expensive since you will have to keep buying it constantly. Constipation and gas are also possible effects of feeding the baby
