It is the above beliefs that have shaped the theology of Christianity, resulting in the writing of many creeds that Christians still value today. It is what distinguishes the numerous denominations and unites them. As the generations pass, it seems that Christianity is continually losing its popularity among young people. Christianity is relevant in today's society. Churches today should greatly value the historical aspect of Christianity as a religion. If some values and principles of Christianity have stood the test of time, this should reassure Christians of the validity of their beliefs. Young people today are interested in the theology of the Bible and appreciate the message of Jesus Christ. It's the "religious" aspects that many are fed up with. People are frustrated with the Church because of the corruption that has occurred over time and its inauthenticity at times. It seems to some that the Church is more concerned with appearances than with actually doing God's work. This generation needs church leaders who embrace the historical roots of Christianity.
