The ice cream sector in Brazil is a great sector to do business in. The reason we chose Brazil to expand while continuing to implement our idea in the United States is because of the consistently warm climate which creates a year-round demand for ice cream unlike the seasonal demand that is usually created in the United States. United. In addition to Brazil's hot climate that screams the need for ice cream, Brazil also has a rapidly growing economy. According to a chart created by research group Canadean, Brazil's ice cream market has seen a steady stream of growth over the past decade or so. The graph also provides a forecast up to 2016 which shows a 200% increase in the ice cream market volume from 2010 to 2016. Another study conducted by Mintel Press shows a 33% growth in the ice cream industry from the year 2007 to 2011 , which has been an encouraging trend for many businesses. The market we want to penetrate with CREAM is the impulse ice cream sector, i.e. any ice cream purchased on impulse which is usually a portion and after consumption you are left with empty hands and a good feeling. The impulse ice cream sector is also favorable to CREAM in Brazil because it represents approximately 62.9% of the entire ice cream sector, which has been an encouraging factor for ice cream companies like Cold Stone to enter this market. This should be great news for us too, as we want to penetrate a market with a new innovative idea of freshly made CREMA sandwiches that stand out for being locally produced with fresh ingredients and without preservatives. Also, another plus for this business is that CREAM will be a new brand, with a new taste and a fresh, fresh sandwich that will be something to appreciate... middle of paper... business to be able to make everyone happy. The good thing about high taxation is that it will help the infrastructure improve overtime because the government will use the tax money for this purpose. The last challenge CREAM will face will be spin-off business, which means someone will see our business and copy it to profit and cut into our profits. The way we will stay ahead of all this is by creating our own ice cream factories that will have secret ingredients and mixes that will be operated by one of our trusted expatriates. Along with this we will make sure to keep things private and have our investors sign non-disclosure agreements in order to keep our strategy, our ingredients and our brand safe. This may seem like a very far-fetched idea, but we will do what we have to do to stay ahead of the competition as long as it is legal and ethical.
