A transaction processing system is a type of business transaction information system that compiles, modifies, and retrieves all of a business's transaction data. The transaction processing system has a quick response. It has a fast performance by means of quick results. The transaction processing system is very reliable as the backup is exceptionally designed and also has a low error rate. The transaction processing system treats all transactions the same since it is used daily, it must be exact and rigid. It is also controlled access, meaning that only certain employees can manipulate the transaction process. Transactions made by the system must pass a test called the ACID test to be qualified by the transaction processing system. ACID stands for atomicity, consistency, isolation and durability. The test ensures that TPS systems execute transactions in a systematic, standardized and reliable manner. There are two types of transaction processing, namely batch processing and real-time processing. Batch processing collects information and stores it, but the information is not processed immediately. For example, processing an invoice in a banking system and real-time processing is a transaction that is processed immediately and the operator has the right to online access
