Scott Fitzgerald's short stories, "Myra Meets Her Family" and "The Baby Party" show how dreams and fantasies are not always the same as our reality. Our main character learned this fact the hard way. Overall, we can see in the two stories and in the statement of the story “Absolution” that our dreams do not coincide with our dreams.
