Look to your left, and then look to your right. When you go out, what do you see? You see the sun, trees, sky and life everywhere around you. The objects and atmosphere that circulate around you are nature, and nature is a part of everything you see and experience. Nature is many different things than your environment. She is the food you eat, the air you breathe and wherever you go she will always be there. Nature is alive, large, small, moving, still. She is everything. Where we are today is based on natural materials and organisms that fuel our bodies and help us survive. Nature is here to help us survive and without her we would be nothing. The earth is a living organism just like us, and nature contributes to the earth just like we do. According to “Gaia” by James Lovelock, life is an open system where energy is obtained from the sun. The atmosphere is seen as a biological structure similar to the bodily structures of organisms. Chemical imbalances in the atmosphere demonstrate that the earth is a living and changing being. Us too. We change every day. We also rely on diverse species and wildlife to keep up with the balance of life and these changes. For example, Albert Einstein once reported that if bees were to disappear forever, humans would have only four years to live. Organisms like bees provide us with some chemicals and nutrients that the planet needs to survive, and they help us humans survive too. We all work together for these delicacies and in the end; we all rely on each other. Nature provides us with these various aspects of life to live with. She is our mother who takes care of us when we need and we give her love in return. If we don't take care of her, then she will neglect us and destroy...... middle of paper......w this process and change the way we live our lives. We are a part of nature. We did not help create nature but were born when it was created. All species and humans are part of nature and have an important role in the ecosystem. We were created to help preserve the Earth and keep it balanced and protected. We are one of nature's most powerful forces. We have made many changes to the geological system and climate much faster than nature could do in a human's lifetime. We are needed on this planet to change our atmosphere and make this world a better place. There are ways to do this by connecting to nature on a more intimate level and being more in tune with our surroundings which can help us understand how we are part of it and understand why we are so important to nature's survival. We're here to do the same thing you're here to do.
