1.0 INTRODUCTION Over the year, warehouse technology has evolved from using manual equipment to automated equipment for storing and picking inventory. [5,8] This paper will discuss different types of equipment that have enabled the warehouse to become more efficient by identifying the most significant processes in a warehouse.2.0 WAREHOUSE PROCESS2.1 RECEIVING PROCESSThe receiving process is the first step in a warehouse process. This may seem boring if the concept is still perceived as an employee standing with a clipboard and manually counting every piece of material that comes through the door. Today's technology is used in the process of receiving, storing and shipping goods by scanning the barcode of each pallet of goods as it enters the warehouse.
