The concept of transformational/transformational leadership is the process in which the leader and follower help each other develop a greater level of morale and motivation (Anonymous, ND). According to Burns, the transformative approach was to generate substantial changes in people's lives and in the organization to aspire followers (Anonymous, ND). Through further research, Bass's transformational approach measured the leader in terms of his impact on followers. The qualities of the transformational leader featured trust, loyalty, and respect towards their followers. These leader accomplishments have offered more than just personal gain, but inspire followers on a mission to visualize their own identity within the organization, succeeding within the team and those they are serving. These are the characteristics that motivate the writer to continue to be a successful transformational leader within himself
