Topic > Paradox Analysis By Timothy Stobierski - 1430

The author states”…when hearing another person's voice coming out of a telephone receiver becomes too intimate to bear, what does this say about our society. .”(Stobierski 68). This statement establishes the fact that many common operations in life require a person to talk on the phone and when even they are unable, the world that has changed under the radar will create a big problem. Many jobs require the art of talking on the phone and this very topic was brought up in the essay with “I know people my age who have been fired from jobs or turned down for jobs because of their reluctance to answer the phone.” (Stobierski 68). The fact that this is even a problem alone proves that Stobierski's idea that not using cell phones for communal communication is harming the modern world.
