Bullying has become very common in the United States, especially in the educational environment. We see and hear about it daily from verbal bullying, social bullying, cyberbullying and physical bullying which is the most dangerous. Nearly 1 in 3 students (27.8%) report being a victim of bullying during the school year (National Center for Education Statistics, 2013). Having witnessed or been the victim of these types of acts, we have sometimes chosen not to act. So we ask ourselves: how serious does the situation have to be to put an end to all this? And how can professional and paraprofessional staff take action to spread awareness. It is time to become aware and increase awareness of the many lives on the planet
