I had no idea what or where Arizona was, or what the people were like. Although one of my parents is American, I had very little exposure to American culture, as I only knew about it through the media and stingy stereotypes. Honestly, I wasn't sure I wanted to move, because I always heard how “bad” America was. However, today I realized that I have been told lies and propaganda about the United States. I have always been told that all Americans are rude and generally sad people, yet I see how kind and polite people are. I know there are a few exceptions, although it rarely happens. I noticed that the attitude here towards foreigners is completely opposite to that of Scandinavians. Where I've met countless people who keep to themselves and butt heads without apologizing. I didn't mind losing something like that, in my opinion it's a terrible feature and I'm not proud of it. Therefore, I can sincerely say that I am relieved to have lost that kind of
