The report identifies and discusses six issues facing social networks: sexual permission, privacy, security, time wasting, addiction and health. The report recommends that social networking be included in the curriculum to provide children with safe usage practices before they join social networking sites. The government should also monitor social networks to prevent bad behavior and unmotivated activities from taking place on social networking sites. Introduction: Social networks have proven to be part of the daily routine. It is used for better or for worse. From time to time, at work, school or home, you access various social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and MySpace using your computers, iPods, iPads and smartphones. They then communicate with hundreds or millions of people on their social networks by posting a status update on Facebook or tweeting on Twitter or responding to other people's posts or... in the middle of a sheet of paper... graphic material on social networks; this happens because the offenders know that their activities will not be carried out by the competent authorities. While educating children and teenagers about the dangers of engaging in certain socially risky behaviors, it is necessary to monitor what happens on social networks, although this move has previously been fought by social networking sites. Since social networking sites have failed to prevent bad behavior on their websites, the government should start monitoring the activities taking place on social networks to snub and prosecute perpetrators with the aim of ensuring everyone has a fair positive social networking experience. There is therefore a need to establish social networking policies that outline what should and should not be done on social networking sites, which will serve as the basis for monitoring.
