I would like to introduce myself as Katamneni Sruthi who is applying for the Master of Science program at the Department of Public Health. My areas of interest are public health, dentistry, behavioral sciences, health sciences, health and social care and psychology. As I write, thousands of kilometers from my homeland, India, I think about the path that led me to public health. I often wonder when people talk about health disparities, whether they will ever truly understand what they mean, what crushing poverty entails, and even what an underdeveloped nation looks like. Since my high school days I have had a strong inclination towards various programs/activities in the healthcare sector. My interest in the topic grew as it refers to "the science and art of preventing disease, prolonging life, and promoting health through organized efforts and informed choices of society, organizations, public and private, communities and individuals who care about health threats I have come to terms with the fact that there is a huge proportion of topics to be assimilated; focus on public health intervention to improve health and quality of life through prevention and the treatment of diseases and other physical and mental health conditions I want to take a vital role in disease prevention efforts in both the developing world and developed countries. My concern about health dates back to my playing days and ruined my health and finds intervention to improve health and quality of life through prevention and treatment of disease and other physical and mental health conditions Now, I look back and wonder how the dimensions of health can include "a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not simply... middle of the paper......give me the various aspects of public health. With this foundation, my immediate goal is to earn a Master's in Public Health from your university and participate in ongoing projects and research at your department. I am confident that the highly qualified professors and infrastructural facilities of your university will definitely help me build on my foundation and guide me to acquire advanced knowledge in the fields that interest me. I have great respect for the research conducted by the Data and Knowledge Management group. I look forward to taking part in research on recognition and related problems in artificial intelligence. I believe I have the motivation and perseverance required for your degree program. If granted admission, I will take advantage of multiple opportunities at the University and make a significant contribution to the research work underway at your department.
