If something was given away for free, would you pay an outside source to get it back? The common sense answer would be no, or at least not much. Paying for something free is ignorant, especially when the person who gave it to you doesn't even want it. They gave it away frivolously for religious reasons or for no reason at all. Unfortunately, not many people have common sense. Today, buyers spend thousands and thousands of dollars on something they already own, only to commit to a standard that society deems relevant. Hair weft, extensions, fake hair, and wigs are known to be the biggest money makers in the hair industry. With prices ranging from $9.99 to $1,000 and more, it's ridiculous that women would spend all the money they have to have someone else's hair stuck on their heads. Human hair can be collected for retail sale from donors who knowingly or unknowingly know that their hair will end up on someone's head. If these goods are purchased for free, then why are they no longer accessible to the public? This is why the price of hair extensions/tracks should be reduced to a more convenient and economical cost. Extensions, weaves, fake hair and/or wigs can come from various places around the world. Commonly, pure human hair is collected from areas of Asia, Eastern Europe, and India. That's where the best quality human hair can be found. While there are no limits to where quality human hair comes from, the Far East is known for its good quality. Fake hair extensions/wefts/hair can be made to look like human hair or can be human hair. Both processes are complicated; creating fake hair or collecting real hair is not easy. Manufacturers of fake hair (non-human hair) are in......middle of paper......r trade. Those involved, if trained professionally, will never go broke. Assuming the equation used to price hair extensions has many factors, there is no reason for the inflated price to exceed $500 or more. Retailers still need to consider shoppers' reasons and needs to purchase hair extensions. For those cancer and alopecia victims who simply want to feel attractive, a quality wig can do that. For the average person moving up the economic ladder, affordable hair extensions can contribute to their success. Those who donate their hair knowingly or unknowingly, would be proud to know that their contribution to the hair industry is inexpensive for consumers of all demographics. Manufacturers will be able to reach more consumers if the price is accessible to all class levels. Affordable extensions, weaves and wigs will be good for all consumers and producers.
