John Locke was born in Wrington, Somerset, England in 1632. His father was a lawyer and justice of the peace who fought on behalf of the Parliamentary side against Charles I. Locke had a good education, learning He studied Hebrew and Arabic at Westminster School, then moved on to Oxford University where he began not only to question but also to strongly disagree with the scholastic philosophy he was taught. After receiving his master's degree, he began lecturing at Oxford in Greek and Latin. From there, he was eventually offered the position of Censor of Moral Philosophy in 1664. After the death of Locke's father, this allowed him some freedom, as his father had left him a large inheritance that would make him financially independent . Around the same time, he also began meeting other like-minded men such as Isaac Newton, Robert Boyle, and Thomas Sydenham. Sydenham was very influential in Locke's desire to become a doctor, although he never practiced typical medicine, he was very knowledgeable and soon took charge of supervising Lord Ashley, Earl of Shaftesbury, in surgery for an infected cyst on his liver. He would even drain his wound with a silver tube. For his services, the earl was very kind and became a long-term supporter of Locke's philosophical views and endeavors. In addition to assisting Shaftesbury with his medical problem, he also began to attend to his needs in political matters. This was evident in some of the various government positions offered to Locke, due to his relationship with the earl. Indeed, he strongly supported Locke's appointment to the Royal Society in 1688. All of them are used in propaganda, fighting for rights and not surrendering to an unjust ruler. The parallel with Locke, the father of liberalism, is prevalent in the smallest symbolic measures. Because Locke thought the notion that kings had the right to immerse themselves because they were direct descendants of Adam was ridiculous. There was no way to trace the direct descent of the kings from Adam, and there was no real precision, adding that humans had both male and female parents and that political power was fundamentally different from patriarchal power. To further reiterate his point, he went on to explain in the Two Treatises that human beings are peaceful, with the exception of some criminals. Governments were necessary to ensure justice in punishment, but it was only a convenience added to a generally functional and satisfactory situation.
