Altered hydrological cycles, air quality, erosion and decline of wild populations are just some of the side effects that have a detrimental impact on human civilization. Fortunately, several authors point out that many of these situations can be overcome and prevented if people simply take care of the environment. They all agree that educating the public about the dangers of deforestation is a big step towards a solution to the problem. As Dr. Seuss states at the end of the movie, The Lorax, "Unless someone like you cares a lot, nothing's going to get better. It's
