There are many tragic events that happen in our world. But nothing is scarier than when it comes to someone else's death committed by another person. Many sad and devastating events happen in our world today. There are many crazy people in our world. Some, whose names are still very well known nationwide due to some of the tragic events that brought us. Even some that happened many years ago. There is one man who stands out for the tragedy he brought to our world that no one will ever forget. His name is Charles Manson. Charles Manson is known as the world's number one serial killer. Charles Manson started a cult in his twenties, went to prison numerous times, and committed some murders that people today will never forget. Charles Manson was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 12, 1934. He was the son of Kathleen Maddox: a sixteen-year-old prostitute. Her mother wasn't ready to be a mother. She drank a lot and often didn't care about Charles. At one point in her life she was sentenced to five years in prison for robbing a West Virginia gas station. For this reason, Charles had spent most of his time traveling to various relatives and often in special reformatories and orphanages. At one point he was sent to live with his aunt and uncle, who didn't treat him well either. At the age of nine, Charles Manson had already started stealing and getting into fights at school. As you can see, her baby was a mess that only progressed with age. This soon became a habit that led to even worse situations. In 1954, at the age of 19, Charles married a woman named Rosalie Willis. About two years later they had a son named Charles Manson Jr. Manson supported and provided for his family through ste...... middle of paper...... He said it would happen in the summer of 1969 when the blacks they would rise up and massacre the whites. When that didn't happen, he told his "family" that they needed to show the blacks how to do it. Manson ordered four of his followers to go to the home of a man named Terry Melcher. One of the men who didn't help him with his music career when he was trying to get one. What Manson didn't know was that Terry had moved out and no longer lived there. Instead, an actress, Sharon Tate, and her husband lived there. Manson visited the house asking for Melcher, but was turned away because Melcher had moved out. On August 9, 1969, Manson and his "family" returned to the house and killed Tate, her unborn child, and four guests who were visiting Tate at the time. Her husband was on vacation at the time. This murder was one of the most well-known murders worldwide among all the Manson murders.
