When an essay is scattered, the author's difficulty in constructing the article emerges which will cause difficulty for the reader in understanding the author's main ideas. Although there are errors in the introduction and conclusion, the main paragraphs show the organizational patterns that should have been used throughout the essay. For example, paragraph four begins with a clear main point, provides relevant information with two separate examples, and ends by connecting it all to the thesis statement. By providing a well-structured paragraph, the reader was able to read easily and follow the flow of my idea. When it comes time to write another timed essay, I will remember to create an essay with easy movements while referring to the structure of the MEAL. After finishing the timed writing, I surprisingly found the prompting and range of texts provided to my comfort level. Listening to previous students discuss how dropping WPJ will result in an extra course and the time constraint, I entered class a little worried. Since there were more than two texts as references, I was able to read them all and decide which ones best suited my arguments.
