After thinking about it in class, I decided that I should do some research on what it's like to play college basketball because I will be playing college basketball at Grace Bible College next year. Another reason I chose to research this topic was to become more knowledgeable about what to expect next fall when my college career begins. I want to know what is expected of me as a player, but also as a student. I feel like this topic was perfect for me since I will be playing basketball for the next four years of my life. College basketball is very different from high school basketball. The game is much more intense, it's faster paced, you have to be more knowledgeable when it comes to knowing your opponents and you have to be much fitter. This research topic also allowed me to connect with my teammates who already had experience playing basketball while attending Grace, which allowed me to get to know them a little.'
