You wouldn't think this would be close to home, but it is. Now I have to guess whether people are there of their own free will or are forced to follow someone else's orders. I feel as if people who are on the streets selling flowers, roses, pirated films or CDs are victims of human trafficking. It must be very difficult for victims to find themselves in this type of situation. I can't quite imagine the thoughts and feelings they must have had when they were victims of human trafficking. I like how Ms. Gomez compared one of my childhood movies to human trafficking. As a child I believed that the movie was very innocent and that the ants were just getting their lives back. Now that Ms. Gomez explained what was really happening in the film, I realized that there was a darker theme to the film. The ants were slaves to the locusts. They were forced to work twice as hard to be able to feed the locusts and also be able to obtain food for themselves. It took them to realize that there is strength in unity and that they should stand up
