Topic > Human cloning should remain illegal - 1087

The discovery of cells in 1665 brought a huge development in science and also led to another amazing discovery: the copying of cells; in other words, cloning. It didn't take long for scientists to realize that the same skilled organisms could be created by using and copying cells. After the first successful cloning of a mammal, Dolly the sheep, in 1997, the world of science was proud, but not yet satisfied. Curiosity and enthusiasm pushed scientists to reach the culmination of the history of cloning with a surprising and risky discovery: the first successful cloning of stem cells in 2013 declaring the possibility of human cloning. On the one hand, supporters think that human cloning is a miracle and a masterpiece of science. On the other hand, considering the disadvantages of human cloning, opponents think that human cloning should be illegitimate; therefore, it is illegal in countries like Canada, India, Romania, Germany, Serbia, United States, and Australia. Human cloning should remain illegal for ethical, economic, social and health reasons. First, human cloning should be considered illegal because it is unethical due to religious conflict, exclusion of cloned humans, and use for evil purposes. Initially, according to most religions, reproducing offspring in unnatural ways means interfering in God's affairs; in other words, rebel against God. To demonstrate, considering the belief that God created human beings and is the only one who can create human beings, it is completely unacceptable and immoral to clone human beings. Secondly, cloned humans would be excluded from society and exposed to harsh discrimination which would cause global chaos in the world. For example, according to "Cloning" by...... middle of paper ......the legality of human cloning still continues and generates great chaos even in the scientific world. However, Greg Jaffe's quote concludes the controversy over human cloning: "One of the problems I've always had with cloning is that just because we can do something scientifically doesn't mean we should do it."
