Better known as LVMH, the company strives to be the best in many nations around the world. This company sets the standard for what all companies should aspire to in terms of success, and its luxury products have risen to the top of their class in every category in which LVMH operates. The company specializes in a number of different sectors, as it is made up of 60 subsidiaries which each have their own brand (“The Beginnings”). They have more than 13 brands of wines and spirits, the most popular being Belvedere, Dom Perignon and Hennessey. They also have more than 17 fashion and leather brands, including Dior, Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton (“LVMH First Half”). LVMH also has 5 brands in the perfume and cosmetics sector, as well as 7 brands in the watches and jewelery department. The most successful were Hubolt and Zenith (“LVMH First Half”). Additionally, LVMH also participates in specialty retail in three different categories: DFS is the leading luxury travel retailer, Le Bon Marche, a notorious department store in Paris, and Sephora is a chain of cosmetics stores located throughout France (“LVMH First Half”). LVMH has managed to create products in all sectors associated with luxury: wines, fashion, perfumes, cosmetics, watches and jewelry.
