Advancement, advancement is the key word when describing the human race to prove that we are the master race. Since the discovery of technology we have linked our minds together for the persistence of progress to change the aspects around us for the better. It's amazing that a simple interest in the beginning can change everything until it boils down to a distinct thought. History has shown that technological breakthroughs in engineering have grown and occurred at faster rates and with greater speed over the past twenty years. Such a large amount has improved so rapidly as cities grow and technology advances, engineering moves with the tide. Engineers who grow up and see their world of work improve every day thanks to certain technological advances, all dependent on their field. This is how engineering features have evolved into what they are today over the last two decades; and how change will continue to advance as modern technology embraces a postmodern era. Engineering has existed since the earliest times of culture and is perhaps one of the oldest lines of work on earth (the first invention of engineering dates back to the invention of the wheel). It's amazing that we have come this far since the discovery of the wheel, the technology that has been made today just swallows people's minds. Every day modern technology takes over people's minds and they continue to adapt to modern changes in an ever-changing society. Over the centuries there are traces left by ancient engineering and they differ from our technology today. Amazing and unanswered feats of engineering occurred throughout the ancient era. Like the great pyramids of Egypt and the great Colosseums of Rome. The… middle of paper… his hands are dirty and a female is not (a great example would be the 1950s nuclear age of the stay-at-home mom and 9-5 dad). One of the main reasons why women don't go out and go into labor is the perception of being feminine. Here's a quote that shows how much soul they put into their work. “Engineering is the professional art of applying science to the optimal conversion of natural resources for the benefit of man.” (smith)Works Cited• Scott, Henry. “Engineering Quotes.” Smart quotes.
