There are many great writers from our past, but the one who stands out the most would have to be William Shakespeare. William Shakespeare wrote plays and other literary pieces in the late sixteenth and early sixteenth centuries that we still read and study today. Some of his famous pieces that he wrote were Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Macbeth and Julius Caesar. He wrote a wide variety of pieces from poems, tragedies, and even comedies. Although William Shakespeare's writings were not that popular at the time, today his work is very popular and many people around the world still watch it today. At the time William Shakespeare may not have realized what he was doing and wrote these pieces simply because it was what he liked to do, but what he did was influence our society making it what it is today. By doing all the amazing things that William Shakespeare did in his life, he helped impact our society by changing our English language, he inspired a very famous murder that changed the history of the United States, he told us stories, he influenced other writers, and he changed the world of theatre.One One of the ways William Shakespeare had a major impact on our society was by changing our English language into what it is today. One of the ways he did this was by adding thousands of common words that we still use today. Some of the words he came up with were release, addiction and excitement. You may not think about it much, but there are thousands of other words like these that we say and write every day and don't even think or know where they were invented or where they came from. Not only did he invent common words, he also invented common phrases that were here and could be used all the time. Two of the phrases he invented were "Neither here nor there" (Othello) and "There is method in my madness" (Hamlet)....... middle of paper... all the time and also he improved the grammar to make it easier to read and write today. His writing also influenced an assassin named John Wilkes Booth. This helped shape American history into what it is today. William Shakespeare also had messages in his stories. This taught us lessons that we encounter every day. Another way it affected our society was by influencing the theater industry and how we produce films today. Today we make films based on the stories of William Shakespeare. Finally, William Shakespeare helped influence other writers and improve their writing. In conclusion, by doing all the amazing things that William Shakespeare did in his life, he helped impact our society by changing our English language, he inspired a very famous murder that changed the history of the United States, he told us stories, influenced other writers and changed the world of theater..
