The Mount Lofty Range watershed is 1,640 km2 of open land surrounded by agriculture and home to approximately 50,000 residents. The Mount Lofty Range watershed is one of many water resources that provide Adelaide with approximately 60% to 90% of the water that is used by privately owned land and for human activities. With the amount of users the Mount Lofty Range watershed provides, there are issues involving water quality and pollutants. In this investigation the issue of water quality of the Mount Lofty Ranges watershed will be discussed, as there will also be two perspectives on how the water quality of the Mount Lofty Ranges watershed can be improved for current and future users.
