Topic > The History of Marshall Law in Sierra Leone - 1122

Marshall Law in Sierra Leone Sierra Leone is a country on the west coast of Africa. The country gained its first independence on April 27, 1961. Furthermore, the country was the last to gain independence during 150 years from British colonial rule. It was amazing at that time, there were smiles on people's faces and happiness all over the country. Then AP All People's Congress comes to power to make the country better for us. The president at that time was called Siaka Stevens. People have jobs and so on the farm. Work and make a difference. Keep in mind that the beauty of Sierra Leone was just beginning and the people were beautiful and hard working. The country has improved in all kinds of things, one of those things is [reconciliation, but poverty and unemployment are still major challenges]. People we worked with the government and everything was going well and everyone was willing to work with the government. But the war broke out for an important reason and it started on March 23, 1991 and ended in 2002. It was all just to overthrow the government of Joseph Momoh. That war makes people all over the country weaker and weaker, and the government will never be stronger from then on. That war was the worst thing the people of Sierra Leone had ever faced in their lifetime. Some people still suffered from nightmares. In the end everything happens for a ritual reason, but that has not stopped Sierra Leone from continuing to move forward. Marshall Law in Sierra Leone began when Alhaji Dr. Ahmad Tejan Kabbah came to power. He started taking large lands from other people and giving them to them. a little money to live somewhere other than earth... half a paper... to live and have food as they want whenever they want. My thesis is that land makes more money so the government will be richer than the poor people who, by doing hard labor, will work their land and get paid a little. For example, those workers will come to work early in the morning, around 7, just to work and have some money for food and for the family. These people will leave work and go home around 4pm, it's a hard job they do and they don't do it. I won't take a good drug after that. In some cases some of these workers don't have the right tool and others give up and steal all day. Young people have less of everything in that country, it's crazy how young people say the government is taking their lives away and then the government says young people are lazy. It was finally better than yesterday, my uncles and great-grandmother say .
