Cooking/Cooking Lessons:Who: We offer cooking classes for those who want to learn additional cooking skills and get some tips. As at the Shaw Festival, we will also have more volunteer staff members helping our guests. What: We offer a 45 minute cooking class with our head chefs, for guests aged fifteen and over. We do this primarily in a group setting, unlike that offered at Falls View Casino in Niagara Falls, Ontario, where theirs is primarily one-on-one. We can offer this to you if this is what you prefer at an additional cost. With our best chefs what we will cook is mainly Canadian cuisine. Also, as many know, most Canadian cuisine does not originate in Canada but was migrated here from other cultures and countries. While setting up the course, our chefs will inform you a little history of the food, just as extra knowledge for you that can be used for an interesting dinner table conversation when you prepare it at your home. When: we will have 8 lessons a day, all year round. They will do this mainly by reservation, however if there is space a walking reservation is also possible. Why: We offer it to those who want to become chefs or just better cooks but aren't sure how to fully take their food to the next level. Questions may be asked about other types of meals and our chef will do his best to answer all your questions according to your expectations. Also, for those who wish to see both shows we will be offering in our Botanical Theater, this gives the guest something to do, to pass the time while they wait. Where: We will be holding these lessons as you enter down the hall and to your left. Like at the VEC at Niagara College, there is an information desk right as you enter to help you if needed. We have pl...... in the center of paper ...... and bricks of different sizes with a gazebo on top. Since the gazebo only has wooden pillars, it is still possible to enjoy the sun the moment you go out. A few bird feeders and hundreds of surrounding flowers, and once out the trail opens up with flowers running along each side. A twelve foot high brick wall will surround the interior of the garden interrupting the noise to make you feel as if the city has gone away. Also, at the bottom you will see a stage with some artifacts around it following today's show. There is neatly cut grass in front that can accommodate ninety-five to one hundred and fifteen guests. During rainy days our employees will be aware of the weather forecast and therefore with our bricks they will connect a giant curtain to each wall preventing the rain from entering and in this way our guests who have purchased tickets will still be able to enjoy their evening at the theater.
