This essay will discuss my comprehensive technology plan and tell how I believe it will increase productivity and efficiency for both teachers and students. In today's society technology is so important to the future and is changing the way our students learn in the classroom. If we use technology correctly and safely, all of us, students and teachers, will be able to learn all the benefits that the Internet has to offer us. Technology provides us with so many things we can use in the classroom to improve how we teach our students. The most common technology available is computers and the Internet. In recent years, smartphones and tablets have been introduced into the school system. In today's classrooms, you'll find smart whiteboards or interactive whiteboards, which allow teachers to use programs and share certain things with the entire class. These types of technologies will help teachers accomplish more tasks in groups, as well as keep students interested, so students can learn more and make progress in their education. In my class one of the most important topics we have to discuss is Internet safety. Student safety is so important that before we do anything else in my class we will do lessons and projects on Internet safety and what to do and what not to do on the computer. There are so many creeps and pedophiles online that students can easily take advantage of without even knowing. Teachers and parents need to be aware of the many dangers that exist and take the necessary steps to ensure that students are aware of them too. There are several software that can be useful in ensuring the safety of students online. One of these is spyware, which is useful for monitoring what is happening to each student... middle of paper... not safe, entertaining, and hopefully eager to learn. Having all this technology will help me achieve all my goals for my classroom. With all the school training on computer programs and guidelines, I plan to use all the knowledge I am gaining to my advantage and help my students the best way I know how. Many schools throughout North Carolina have low income schools, I want to work at one of these schools. My goal and desire would be to find grants, funding, or even programs that would help provide the technology we would need to better our students. I think that if students see us working together with the community and other organizations, it could help them learn how to function in society, and even if they don't achieve all the goals I set for myself, I at least want them to be able to express themselves and remember the dangers present on the Internet.
