As a college student, I know the expenses too well, and seeing it, I think the solution is online classes. The Mega University by Jeremiah Tsyporin discusses whether large-scale open online courses (MOOCs) compare favorably with traditional education. He states that “MOOCs provide a quick fix: easily accessible, free, high-quality education” (Tsyporin 345). I think the main problem MOOCs solve is the one that most college students face every year: overenrollment. Online classes would allow college students to access the classes they need without having to wait an extra quarter or semester, saving us time and money.
