Topic > Our Visit to the State Fair of Texas - 756

My family and I recently visited the State Fair of Texas. It is the largest Texas fair held in Dallas each fall. I haven't been there since I was very young. The State Fair has so much to do and see. And one of the biggest attractions is the food they offer. It is best known for the famous Fletcher corndogs! The first thing we did was find Big Tex. Big Tex is a great known story of the state fair. He wears size 70 boots and wears a 75 gallon hat. It is 52 feet tall. The kids were excited to see it in person! Although my three year old son was a little scared of him. We also got to see the car show. It was very interesting to learn about the different vehicles and see some of the future vehicles that are coming out. We looked at the sports cars and some of the big trucks they had on display. They had lots of games to play and free prizes too. We watched the circus in the courtyard which was really fun for the kids. The backyard circus required children and audiences to use their imaginations. They chose many different guys to perform in the circus. Then we were off to the BMX stunt show. A bicycle race. We really enjoyed seeing the neat tricks and stunts.
