Topic > The Extinction of Fin Whale - 961

Animals are a blessing from God. They are seen in different types, shapes and weights in their own category. In marine animals there are mainly mammals which appear to be in large numbers. Fin whale is among those mammals found in marine life. This type of whale is found in all types of oceans and is a suborder of mysticetes. The fin whale is a very heavy whale. Its weight is estimated at around 74-75 tons. The weight is not only the only feature but its length is also very interesting. The fin whale is said to be the second longest animal in the world in terms of length as a fish. A fin whale is a beautiful creation of God. Its body has gray-brown shades and looks very interesting with a paler and softer feel. The softness of its body makes it more interesting. A fin whale swims in all types of water, both tropical and polar. It is usually not found in areas far from open ocean waters. Many fin whales can be seen near fresh water areas. The fin whale's diet consists of small schooling fish and krill. The fin whale is not a commonly seen whale. It is a rare species and according to a report by the International Whaling Commission (IWC) it is in the sights of hunters. The fin whale has been hunted in large numbers in the last century. The species is largely hunted using illegal methods which have resulted in the genocide of large numbers of people. In 1906 there were 752,000 fin whales in the region, but now there are only 32,000 left! This is the result of the unjust hunting and genocide of this rare type of whale. The Conservation of Migratory Wildlife Species (CMS) is an authority that controls all matters of conservation and maintenance of whales and other … half of paper. .....animal rights and conservation. The Whaling Commission is also one of those associations that can provide help in solving this problem. The need is to understand the gravity of the problem and to stop in every possible way the genocide and killing of whales by hunters. Work cited Fin whale. (n.d.).
