Mothers cannot neglect to breastfeed their babies just because someone else doesn't like seeing it and tells them to go away. This would be neglect, which is a form of child abuse, and neglect itself is against the law (McCall). While women shouldn't be ridiculed for breastfeeding, there are things they can do to make everyone feel a little more comfortable, such as using an amenity blanket when breastfeeding in public, which many women already they do it because it's not their intention to offend anyone or make people uncomfortable who are just trying to feed their kids and get on with their day. When mothers breastfeed their babies in public, it should be allowed and accepted without criticism. There are so many benefits of breastfeeding that not everyone is aware of, people should look at the facts and see that mother's nurse feeds their babies and does not disgust anyone. Most cultures around the world believe that breastfeeding is natural and non-sexual. It would be helpful for others to understand and embrace this natural way of feeding babies because it is part of life. Breastfeeding, regardless of when or where it occurs, is simply better for mothers, babies and children
